It is a privilege and an honour to lead Sherwood School, a relatively young school that is building on traditions that were established when the school first opened in 1963.

Sherwood School is located in the beautiful Central Hawke’s Bay. The school boasts some of the most exquisite views of the Ruahine Ranges and the surrounding country side. We are very lucky as a community to have school grounds and buildings that are vibrant, cutting edge and homely.

The teaching staff at Sherwood School are innovative and dynamic professionals that cater to the needs of each individual child and who take time to engage in various community activities.

At Sherwood School we aim for our pupils to:
